Follow the legendary Jungle Book trail of Central India on this immersive tiger safari covering Pench and Kanha National Parks, two of India’s finest wildlife destinations and prime habitats of the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi
Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, where you will be met and greeted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel with assistance in check-in. Tour documents and safari briefing will be provided.
Overnight stay: New Delhi
Day 02: New Delhi – Nagpur – Pench National Park
(Flight + 100 km / approx. 2 hrs drive)
Early breakfast and transfer to the airport to board your morning flight to Nagpur. On arrival, drive to Pench National Park, the forest that inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.
Check in at the wildlife lodge. After lunch, proceed for your first afternoon jeep safari in Pench.
Dinner & overnight stay: Pench
Day 03: Pench National Park Safari
Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris inside Pench National Park, known for its rich tiger movement along the Pench River belt.
Spread across 758 sq. km, Pench features tropical moist and dry deciduous forests, seasonal streams, and natural waterholes locally known as dohs. The Pench Reservoir serves as a vital water source during summer.
Wildlife sightings include tigers, leopards, wild dogs (dhole), gaur, sloth bears, sambar, chital, jackals, and jungle cats.

Day 04: Pench National Park
Another full day of wildlife exploration with morning and afternoon jeep safaris. Pench is also excellent for birdwatching and predator-prey photography.

Day 05: Pench – Kanha National Park
(210 km / approx. 4–5 hrs drive)
Morning jeep safari in Pench. After early lunch, drive to Kanha National Park, one of India’s most scenic and well-managed tiger reserves.
Check in at the lodge.
Dinner & overnight stay: Kanha
Day 06: Kanha National Park Safari
Early morning tea/coffee followed by a morning jeep safari in Kanha’s vast sal and bamboo forests.
Declared a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1974, Kanha spreads over 940 sq. km and is the only habitat of the rare hard-ground Barasingha (swamp deer).
Enjoy a packed breakfast inside the forest before continuing your safari. Return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
Proceed for afternoon jeep safari in Kanha.

Day 07: Kanha National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris exploring the Banjar and Halon valleys, home to gaur, sambar, nilgai, sloth bears, wild dogs, leopards, and over 300 bird species.
Kanha is widely regarded as the original Jungle Book landscape.
All meals & overnight stay: Lodge
Day 08: Kanha National Park
Another full day dedicated to tiger tracking and wildlife photography, with morning and afternoon jeep safaris.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner & overnight stay: Resort
Day 09: Kanha – Raipur – Kolkata
(220 km / approx. 4 hrs drive + Flight)
Morning jeep safari in Kanha. After lunch, drive to Raipur Airport to board your evening flight to Kolkata.
On arrival, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay: Kolkata
Day 10: Kolkata – Onward Destination
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Tour Exclusions
• Charges for still or video cameras at monuments and national parks, if applicable
(Currently complimentary in Kanha and most zones of Pench; however, camera fees apply in the Khursapar zone of Pench)
• Personal expenses including tips, bottled water, beverages, tobacco, alcohol, laundry, and telephone usage
• International and domestic flight tickets
• Travel and medical insurance
• Any services or expenses not specifically listed under “Tour Cost Includes”
• Any increase in park entry fees, fuel charges, or government taxes, which will be payable additionally and advised in advance
Important Notes
The travel durations mentioned between destinations are approximate and calculated under normal road conditions. Actual driving time may vary due to traffic, weather, or road conditions. Any stops for meals, refreshments, restroom breaks, or sightseeing will extend the overall journey time.
Please note that Kanha and Pench National Parks remain closed for afternoon jeep safaris every Wednesday as per forest department regulations.
Additional Notes
• If the proposed hotel or standard room category is unavailable or waitlisted, suitable alternative accommodation will be arranged. Any difference in cost will be communicated prior to confirmation
• Standard hotel check-in and check-out time is 12:00 noon
• All safaris in Kanha and Pench are conducted in exclusive private 4×4 jeeps
• Safari zone allocation is subject to availability and final approval by the forest department
• No afternoon jeep safaris operate in Kanha and Pench National Parks on Wednesdays
