Experience the spiritual essence of The Golden Temple, the world’s largest community kitchen (Langar), and understand Sikh values of equality and service. Visit historic landmarks like Jallianwala Bagh, explore the Partition Museum, and witness the high-energy Wagah Border Ceremony, gaining insights into India’s struggle, independence movement, and shared history with Pakistan.

Chamba – Sustainable Village Immersion
Stay in a model Himalayan village leading a Sustainable Development Project. Engage with homestay hosts, women’s Self-Help Groups, artisans, and tourism officials.
Activities include:

• Workshops on eco-tourism, SHGs & community-led development
• Lunch with a shepherd family in mountain pastures

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi → Transfer to Amritsar
Students arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and receive a warm welcome from the local team. They are then transferred to the railway station or domestic terminal for a train/flight to Amritsar.
Upon arrival, students check in at the hotel.
Optional: Evening visit to the Golden Temple for the serene Palki Sahib Ceremony.
Educational Focus: Introduction to Sikh hospitality, selfless service, and community living.

Day 02: Amritsar – Faith, Culture & India’s Freedom History
Students begin the day with a guided tour of the Golden Temple and the Langar, witnessing Sikh values of equality and compassion in action.
Next, visit the historic Jallianwala Bagh Memorial, followed by the immersive Partition Museum.
In the evening, experience the vibrant Wagah Border Ceremony. A group debrief helps students understand India–Pakistan relations and historical contexts.

Day 03: Amritsar → Sustainable Village Stay in Chamba
Early morning drive to Chamba in the lower Himalayas. Students arrive at a model village participating in a Sustainable Village Development Project.
They are welcomed with local hospitality, followed by an orientation on homestays, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and eco-tourism initiatives.
Students check into village homestays and meet host families.

Day 04: Rural Life Immersion & Hands-On Learning
Students engage in authentic village life—farming, cattle care, collecting firewood, cooking, weaving, or spinning wool.
A community lunch is prepared with host families.

Day 05: Cultural Exchange & Indigenous Knowledge
Visit the local school for cultural exchange sessions.

Day 08: Chamba → Dharamshala / McLeodganj
Scenic drive to Dharamshala, home to Tibetan culture and Himalayan monasteries.

Day 09: Tibetan Refugee Community & Cultural Preservation
Morning visit to the Tibetan Children’s Village to understand refugee education and identity.
Afternoon tour of Norbulingka Institute to witness traditional Tibetan arts—Thangka painting, woodwork, statue making, and embroidery.

Day 10: Buddhist Philosophy & Mindfulness
