Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi Airport, meet the representative, and transfer to the hotel. After check-in (12 PM), relax and unwind.
Evening: Orientation session with the tour leader on Buddhist heritage and the journey ahead.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Delhi:
• Red Fort – drive past
• Jama Masjid (optional visit)
• Raj Ghat – Gandhi’s cremation site
• Rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk
Drive past India Gate, Parliament House & Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Later visits:
• Bangla Sahib Gurudwara
• Lotus Temple
• Qutub Minar – UNESCO Site
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Lucknow (Flight) – Sravasti (3.5 hrs drive)
Fly to Lucknow and drive to Sravasti.
Visits:
• Sahet-Mahet – monastic complex of Buddha’s miracles
• Jetavana Monastery – where Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons
Evening: Meditation at Jetavana Park.
Overnight in Sravasti.
Day 04: Sravasti – Lumbini (3.5 hrs drive)
Drive to the Nepal border, complete formalities, and proceed to Lumbini, Buddha’s birthplace.
Evening meditation in the Sacred Garden.
Overnight in Lumbini.
Day 05: Lumbini Sightseeing
Explore the UNESCO Heritage Site:
• Maya Devi Temple
• Sacred Pond & Bodhi Tree
• Ashoka Pillar
• World Peace Pagoda
• International Monastic Zone
Evening: Silent walking meditation.
Overnight in Lumbini.
Day 06: Lumbini – Kushinagar (4 hrs drive)
Drive to Kushinagar, the place of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana.
Visits:
• Mahaparinirvana Temple
• Rambhar Stupa
• Matha Kuar Shrine
Evening meditation at temple complex.
Overnight in Kushinagar.
Day 07: Kushinagar – Vaishali – Patna (5 hrs drive)
Drive to Patna via Vaishali.
Visits in Vaishali:
• Ashokan Pillar
• Ancient stupa and monastery ruins
Continue to Patna.
Overnight in Patna.
Day 08: Patna – Nalanda – Rajgir – Bodhgaya (5 hrs drive)
Drive to Rajgir.
• Visit Shanti Stupa by cable car
• Explore Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture’s Peak)
Continue to Nalanda University ruins and museum.
Proceed to Bodhgaya.
Overnight in Bodhgaya.
Day 09: Bodhgaya Sightseeing & Meditation
Full-day spiritual touring:
• Mahabodhi Temple
• Bodhi Tree meditation
• Great Buddha Statue
• Sujata Temple
• Niranjana River
• International monasteries
Evening: Guided Vipassana meditation.
Overnight in Bodhgaya.
Day 10: Bodhgaya – Varanasi (5 hrs drive)
Drive to Varanasi.
Evening: Boat ride on the Ganges & witness the Ganga Aarti.
Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 11: Varanasi – Sarnath Excursion
Early morning sunrise boat ride.
After breakfast, excursion to Sarnath:

• Mulagandha Kuti Vihar
• Sarnath Museum
• Chaukhandi Stupa
Later visit BHU and Bharat Mata Temple.
Evening meditation at Dhamek Stupa.
Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 12: Varanasi – Delhi (Flight) – Departure
Morning free for reflection. Fly to Delhi and connect to onward journey.
